■ Lee Jun Ki ha iniziato la sua carriera come modello ed interpretando ruoli minori come nel film “The Hotel Venus” e nel drama “Star’s Echo” nel 2004.
■ Dopo aver studiato recitazione presso la Seoul Institute of the Arts, ottiene il suo primo ruolo importante nel film “The King and the Clown”, interpretando Gong Gil, un giovane effeminato del tardo quindicesimo secolo, costretto ad essere l'amante del re Yeonsangun di Joseon. Il film è diventato il maggior successo cinematografico della storia in Corea del sud, con oltre dodici milioni di spettatori. In seguito al successo del film, Lee Jun Ki è stato considerato una icona dell'estetica maschile coreana.
■ Da lì la sua carriera di attore ha spiccato il volo portandolo ad interpretare diversi ruoli in altri drama e film di successo fino ad ottenere la parte da protagonista in “Time between dog and Wolf” che viene nominato da un sondaggio condotto da Yahoo! come miglior serie drammatica e lui come migliore attore.
■ Nel corso dell'anno, partecipa anche al film May 18, che racconta un evento storico del 1980 noto come "massacro di Gwangju", che ottine oltre sei milioni di spettatori.
■ Il suo successo continua ad aumentare con la serie televisiva “Iljimae” (2008), nel quale interpreta il ruolo di un personaggio "alla Robin Hood", durante l'era chosun, che è diventato uno dei maggiori successi dell'anno televisivo coreano. La serie in seguito è stata trasmessa anche in Giappone da TV Tokyo.
■ Nel 2009 il suo ultimo ruolo è quello di un eroe moderno, Jin Do Hyuk, nel drama Hero, trasmesso dalla MBC.
■ I suoi hobby e le sue passioni sono: Arti Marziali (è 1° dan di Hapkido e Taekyon, 3° dan di Taekwondo ), Calcio.
